15 Week Appointment - All is Well!
This morning Ed visited our midwife for our 15 week appointment. We heard Baby's heartbeat again, and all is well! We are so thankful that things are progressing as they should- even my weight gain was given the ok! (surprising to both of us considering the tremendous increase in Ice Cream and Chicken Fingers!) We pray every day that God would continue to bless our child, and keep us safe and healthy throughout the next 6 months.

Our First Ultrasound at 8 Weeks
Our first visit to our Midwife on May 10th, 2011-about 8 weeks into the pregnancy.
We were so excited to get our first glimpse of Baby Huck and hear a strong and healthy heart beat! What an amazing blessing- we are so excited!

We're Having a Baby!
Ed and I decided back in December 2010 that it was time to start trying to have a baby, business is good, our insurance was in place, why not!?
On April 12th, I left work early an emotional basket case and not feeling too hot. Just for the heck of it I took a pregnancy test and saw two lines. After cross checking the directions 3 or 4 times, I came to the conclusion- It was actually POSITIVE! Both Ed and I were so happy and somewhat in shock - we really didn't expect it to happen so quickly.
Now we are 13 weeks along, just emerging from our first trimester. Though sometimes it seems surreal, we are both very excited about "growing our team" and all of the blessings we have to look forward to, (Not including immense weight gain and unpredictable mood swings.)
Soon I might actually look pregnant... Stay tuned, photos to come!
